Whoever you are:
Treebard Genealogy Software (the channel at rumble.com, not youtube) is now up to date with current progress on the assertions tab. Not assertions dialog anymore, assertions tab. Simple but striking changes were also made to the Toykinter Combobox, see the repo at github (ProfessorUdGuru). I committed before finishing the assertions tab because I'm having some sort of health crisis so in case I kick the bucket or lose my marbles, you will have the good stuff.
There are now 110 videos in the assertions series wherein I write code with the camera running. Never thought I could do that but it works for those who are interested and want exposure to how a little old hillbilly like me with no training can try to write a genealogy app.
As for the persona that pops up when the camera is running, Professor U. d'Guru is the real me, it's not an act. That's more or less how I was born and the older I get the less I value the really serious veneer that had to be plastered onto it while growing up to cover this persona a.k.a. "Limberluck" who my family found frightful and scary not to mention terrifying. Prof. U. d'Guru was pushed inside and was rediscovered in the dream world a.k.a. the Unworld, see my other website unworlding.com.
A year ago more or less I was playing badminton and messed up my back jumping around like a teenager. Since then I've had a long succession of pain and immobility moving around and it (or something worse) has now settled in my neck. I'm having the worst neck pain of my life, I can work but it's hard to sleep. If I don't get back to Treebard, thanks for showing up and have at it.

PS "Uncle Buddy" is really what they call me here in the Philippines where I live. My son named me Buddy when he was one year old. I was born in Trinidad, Colorado, USA on the 50th anniversary of the San Francisco earthquake and the first anniversary of Albert Einstein's death, at 11:30 pm. I'm only 66 and plan to get back to this but don't know how soon, maybe today and maybe who knows.
