I plan to add a few tour videos to that series, and then I'll start a new series about using Treebard to create a family tree from scratch. The latter will replace an existing video series which I started, but it has been started over with a different family.
The first video of the new series is already done, but the way this series will work is that I'll demonstrate creating a tree from scratch using the Treebard GUI, and when I run into a problem or missing feature, I'll deal with that before making the next video. I hope to make that second video in the series tomorrow, and then post both of them.
In case you aren't very familiar with the Treebard project, one of its main purposes is to demonstrate that an ordinary genealogist who is not a programmer can still write his own genealogy program. This project is not to show how it's done, but to show how I am doing it. We are more interested in attracting genealogists who are willing to learn a little programming, than attracting programmers who are looking to build genealogy apps to sell. If you're looking to have someone sell your ancestors back to you, look elsewhere; Treebard is free. But it's a demo project, not something you'd want to use for your daily database entry work.
You might be inspired by Treebard to write your own program or to use it as a showcase of functionalities when you make feature requests to the developer of your existing genieware.
