<drive>:\treebard\data\settings\unigeds.db Last Changed 2024-07-23 This is a blank database (the UNIGEDS model) copied by Treebard when the user creates a new tree. The types values and a few Treebard defaults are inserted on creation from new_tree.py. Other genealogy apps that decide to use UNIGEDS as their back-end will proceed exactly as Treebard. Tables can be added to the copy of unigeds.db that's used to create new trees. For example, sample_tree.tbd and other Treebard family tree databases add the tables main_tbd, traits_tbd and current_tbd to what's copied from unigeds.db. These tables are needed to handle data about the user, vendor, or app since unigeds.db is completely free of anything but primary genealogy elements (historical data). Attachments:unigeds.db (188 KB)
